My Dutch Design 0809 - Set

The Dutch Design classic, the reference work for customers in search of a designer for a specific project, is coming out in September 2008.

This 10th anniversary edition will be designed by Holland’s most famous designer, now in its eighties and a real icon for young Dutch graphic designers, Dick Bruna.
Dick Bruna is world famous for his creation of Miffy but also highly appreciated for the numerous book cover designs he made for Dutch police novels in the sixties and seventies. Dick Bruna will collaborate with one of Holland’s hottest and most award-winning design agencies nowadays, the Designpolitie (the design police!).

The book contains a superb cross-section of the current state of design in the Netherlands, in all its diversity - from functional minimalism to experimental indulgence - and covering all disciplines from graphics and product design to interactive media.

The Dick Bruna and Designpolitie 10th anniversary edition will become a true object of desire and a collector’s item.

Dutch Design will be published in a a trilingual English/Dutch/German and Chinese edition and is a collaborative project by the Dutch Designers Association BNO and BIS Publishers.
