This book and full length DVD shows the unparalleled and offbeat work of one of the most original and popular artists/animators currently active on the Web and beyond: Han Hoogerbrugge. Each of the ten chapters focuses on a different aspect of Hoogerbrugge’s remarkable work and career that started with the interactive animation series Modern Living/Neurotica, about a man -" Hoogerbrugge’s alter ego -" who is struggling with the trappings and everyday inconveniences of modern life.
Topics include his animation and sound design for his groundbreaking flash animation series Hotel, Nails and of course Modern Living/Neurotica. Hoogerbrugge’s graphic universe comes to live though an abundance of original illustrations, graphic design, comics and essays on his working process, motion design and animation.

The DVD is Mac/PC/DVD-player compatible and has been designed by Han Hoogerbrugge himself. It features over one hour of work, including short films, animations, music videos, art works and a complete archive of Hoogerbrugge’s flash animation series Hotel, Nails and Modern Living/Neurotica.
